Suzie Tharp - President

Suzie Tharp President Bush Inaugural Ball 2004 Suzie is Republican right through to her DNA. Her parents were some of the few Republicans in South Georgia for most of their lives. Wouldn’t they love to see all those Georgia Republicans in that great state now!
In the past 30 years, Suzie has served in numerous positions on non-profit boards, non-profit staff positions and as a volunteer. From charitable organizations to international biotech companies, she has gained the knowledge to make her an expert in leading these organizations to gain the momentum they need to grow and move forward into the 21st century. With a B.A. in Organizational Management, she is CEO of Preference Planning and Communications, a consulting group to non-profits. Event planning, fundraising, board building, volunteer recruitment, web design, and newsletter design are some of the significant training they offer.
She is a gifted fundraiser, raising over a million dollars for local charities.

Her husband Denny served 20 years in the military. They lived all over the country, and Suzie always served her community in some way. In 1984, they moved to Brevard County and settled here with their 3 children and now 3 grandchildren.
