Nancy SchulzeNancy Schulze is a Washington, D.C. based speaker and singer.

Nancy’s professional singing career began at the Hawaii Civic Light Opera, and moved from the Los Angeles & San Francisco Civic Light Opera Workshop to New York City, where she spent several years touring the country in musical theatre shows. Singing has taken Nancy to over 20 foreign countries, including Ambassadors’ Residences in Turkey, Germany, and the Moroccan Residence in W.D.C. Nancy sang in USO Shows overseas, including the role of “Molly” in “The Unsinkable Molly Brown”.

Nancy recently sang for an event honoring First Lady Laura Bush, and at a Gala honoring former First Lady Barbara Bush.

Nancy was the speaker for the Inaugural Prayer Breakfast for New York’s Governor George Pataki, and was the singer at the Prayer Service for the Induction of the U.S. Congress. She often speaks and/or sings for National Prayer Breakfast events in Washington. Nancy has frequently been commissioned by Jack Kemp to sing at “Empower America” and other Kemp speaking events.

Nancy’s Statuary Hall performances of World War II music have received standing ovations in our nation’s Capitol Building. She particularly enjoys singing for America’s Veterans, and for the Gospel Rescue Missions in Washington’s inner city.

Nancy has been actively involved in politics since 1980. She was married to Montana’s Secretary of State, Jim Waltermire, who was the frontrunner for Governor of Montana at the time of his death in a plane crash. She had served as the Director of Volunteers for the campaign, published the campaign newsletter, and was on her husband’s “Kitchen Cabinet”. Nancy founded the Montana Student Leadership Conference as a memorial to her husband.

Nancy organized the notably successful “Montana Black Tie Ball & Art Auction” in support of George H.W. Bush’s candidacy for President in 1988.

Nancy owned a real estate company, was named Salesperson of the Year, and won election to serve on the National Board of the Realtors’ Association. She served on the County Planning Board and Zoning Commission, and was elected to serve as her Precinct Committeewoman.

Nancy was the East Coast Director of Conferences for Minirth-Meier, the largest nationwide network of counseling and treatment centers in the country at the time. As such she designed, marketed, and produced 8 conferences in two years throughout the Eastern coastal states.

Nancy married Congressman Dick Schulze from Pennsylvania, who served on the Ways and Means Committee, was one of the original “Reagan 13”, and founded the Congressional Sportsmen’s Caucus and Foundation, now the largest caucus in Congress.

Nancy was the Director of Celebrities for Bob Dole’s campaign for President in 1996, and is the co-founder (with Vicki Tiahrt, wife of Congressman Todd Tiahrt - KS) of the Republican Congressional Wives Speakers Bureau. She currently serves on the National Steering Committee for the McCain for President Campaign.

She serves on the Board of the Republican Women’s Federal Forum in Washington, D.C., and is a member of The Congressional Club, The Republican Congressional Spouses, and The Capital Speakers Club. She has led a prayer group at the White House offices for 7 ½ years
