Area 7 Pre-filled Bills Submitted
- Eliminate Documentary Stamp and Intangible Tax from Reverse Mortgages. These are exempt in other states and the FL tax is computed on 1.5 times the value of the home rather than on loan amount.
- Home Equity Loan Procedures for Senior Citizens. Financial Status & Disclosure documentation to help protect seniors from foreclosure.
- Live Telephone Operator Available on all Company Telephones.
- Building Address Readable from the Street…from cars traveling at speed limit.
- Caregivers to Receive National as Well as Florida Background Checks.
- Determine How Much CO2 Contributes to Global Warming. IE: % from CO2 and % from the Sun.
- Earmark Limits on Federal Bills. Compute in proportion to amount collected from the state.
- Guilty, but Insane. Change charge from “Not Guilty due to Insanity” to “Guilty but Insane.”
- Scramble TV that is not G-rated. V-chip protocol changed from “scrambling” to “unscrambling” just as it now is for X-rated programming.
- Hometown Democracy. Oppose constitutional change called “hometown democracy”
- Waiver of Endangered Species Act for Schools, Hospitals & Roads.
- Study Skyrocketing Cost of Education. Check audits to see where the increases are.
- Super Trucks on Highway. Limit semi-trucks to one trailer in order to preserve infrastructure.
- Autism Study
