Helen Voltz

I was born & raised in Pittsburgh Pa. & moved to Ft. Lauderdale the day after I got married 40 years ago.  My Husband & I  moved to Brevard County 30 years ago where we raised our 3 boys.

I first got involved in politics in 1986 when my husband ran for Palm Bay City council.  That is when I realized that I was not really a Democrat and changed to Republican.  I served on Palm Bay City Council for 3 years, 1990-1993.  In 1994 I served as Congressman Dave Weldon’s first campaign manager.  In 1996-2000 I served on the County Commission for District 5 and again from 2004-2008 for District 3.

I am a Registered Nurse by profession.  I graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from BCC in 1982.  I went back to school and graduated again from BCC in 1992 with a degree in Nursing.  While on the Commission I went back to school and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in 1999 from Barry University and then went on to Webster University where I graduated with an MBA in 2002.

I am now ready to serve the Republican Women’s Network as your President.
